The Geneva Ethical Finance Forum 2026 is organised by AIIF in partnership with IIFEC: AIIF, African pioneer in Islamic finance since 2009, and IIFEC, a Swiss association founded in Geneva to promote ethical finance in Europe. Together, they create the first ethical finance forum for the diaspora and Muslim communities in Europe.

Founded in 2009 by Mouhamadou Lamine Mbacké, AIIF is the first institute specialised in Islamic finance advisory, training and support in the ECOWAS region. A recognised pioneer, AIIF has transformed Dakar into the reference hub for ethical finance in West Africa.
Since 2010, the International Forum on Islamic Finance for West Africa has been included in the official calendar of the Senegalese government. In ten editions, it has brought together Heads of State, Finance Ministers, the IDB, World Bank, IMF and BCEAO around one shared ambition: building a strong Islamic finance industry in West Africa.
